IQ-MATICS FAQ

30 practical questions and answers to help you use the IQ-MATICS financial platform.

Getting Started

Start by opening the IQ-MATICS home page. From there you can use the Calculator, create a New Loan, review Active Loans, check Pending Loans, monitor Overdue Loans and access Reports according to your authorized access level.
TIP: Begin with the Calculator if you want to understand a loan repayment before creating a loan record.
IQ-MATICS is designed for professional loan calculation and loan management. It supports repayment calculations, loan processing, application monitoring, active loan management, overdue monitoring, financial reports, balances and profit analysis.
Use the CALCULATOR option in the main navigation or the Professional Loan Calculator on the home page. You can enter the amount, interest rate, term, repayment frequency, interest method and processing fee.
The calculator interface supports currency selection including MWK, USD, ZAR, GBP and EUR. The selected currency is displayed with the calculated amounts.
You should have the client's relevant identification and contact information, requested loan amount, interest rate, repayment term, repayment frequency and any applicable processing fee. The exact fields depend on the New Loan form used by your IQ-MATICS installation.

Loan Calculator

With reducing-balance interest, interest is calculated against the remaining principal balance. As the principal is repaid, the balance used to calculate subsequent interest normally decreases.
A flat-rate method calculates the interest using the original principal for the agreed calculation period rather than recalculating interest from the reducing outstanding balance.
Repayment frequency determines how often the borrower is expected to make payments. IQ-MATICS supports Monthly, Bi-Weekly and Weekly options in the calculator.
The processing fee is an additional charge calculated as a percentage of the loan principal. The calculator displays the calculated fee separately and includes it in the overall repayment calculation.
Reducing-balance and flat-rate methods use different interest bases. Reducing balance generally calculates interest from the remaining principal, while flat rate uses the original principal according to the configured calculation.

New Loan & Applications

Open the LOAN menu and select New Loan. Complete the required client and loan information, review the figures carefully and submit the application using the controls provided on the New Loan page.
TIP: Use the Calculator first to verify the expected repayment before submitting the application.
A submitted application can be monitored through the loan application status and Pending Loans areas. Depending on the workflow and authorization, an application may be pending, approved or rejected.
Open LOAN from the navigation menu and select Pending Loans. This section is intended for applications that still require processing or an authorization decision.
Use the loan application status option for Approved applications or the relevant loan-management section. Approved loans can then move into the appropriate active-loan workflow depending on your system configuration.
Open the Rejected application status section and review the available application information. If your installation records a rejection reason, it should be available with the relevant application record.

Active & Overdue Loans

An Active Loan is a loan that has been approved and processed and is currently being repaid according to its configured repayment schedule.
Open the LOAN menu and select Active Loans. This area is intended to provide access to loans currently in progress.
An overdue loan is a loan with a repayment obligation that has passed its expected due date without the required payment being recorded.
Open LOAN and select Overdue Loans. Review the client, loan amount, outstanding balance, repayment information and available dates or status indicators to determine which accounts require attention.
Review the account, confirm the outstanding amount and contact the client using your approved collection or support procedure. Keep repayment information updated so the loan status and financial records remain accurate.

Reports, Balance & Profits

The Loan Reports section is intended for reviewing loan-related information and portfolio activity. The exact report fields depend on the version and backend configuration of IQ-MATICS.
Balance information helps authorized users understand outstanding financial obligations and the current position of loans recorded in the system.
Profit information should be restricted to authorized administrators or owners because it contains sensitive financial information. Access should follow the permissions configured for your IQ-MATICS installation.
SECURITY: Never share administrator credentials with unauthorized users.
Access should depend on the role and permissions assigned to the operator. Sensitive owner-level information such as profits and financial performance should remain restricted where the system's permissions require it.
Accurate records help maintain correct repayment calculations, balances, overdue status, reports and financial performance information. Incorrect records can cause downstream reporting and repayment errors.

Security, Premium & Support

Use strong passwords, keep administrator credentials private, provide users only the permissions they require and avoid leaving authenticated accounts open on shared computers.
First check whether you are logged in and whether your account has permission to access the page. If the problem continues, refresh the page, verify the page address and contact IQ-MATICS support.
Premium packages are intended for users who require additional platform capabilities or services. Open the PREMIUM menu and select Premium Packages to review the available package information and ordering section.
Use the SUPPORT button in the navigation menu or the WhatsApp support button on the page. The support link is configured for the IQ-MATICS support WhatsApp contact.
SUPPORT: When reporting a problem, explain the page you were using and what happened so the issue can be identified more quickly.
A recommended workflow is: calculate and review the loan first, create the New Loan application, monitor its Pending status, process approved applications, monitor Active Loans, follow up Overdue Loans and use authorized Reports, Balance and Profits sections for financial oversight.
RECOMMENDED: Always verify loan figures before submitting or approving a loan.
